Shipping Policy
Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.
Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays and should be expected to arrive within 3-5 business days within the UK. There is also an option for First Class delivery and products will arrive within 1-2 business days. (Please see section on overseas delivery for shipping out with the UK).
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email or text once your order has shipped containing your delivery provider and tracking number(s) if applicable.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
Lur Candle Company is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
Damages
Lur Candle Company is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. We are also available to contact via email or phone if needed and we will do our outmost to help you and resolve any issues.
Return & Refund Policy
If you are not happy with your purchase, we will accept a return of an unused product within 14 days. Once we receive the returned item, Lur Candle Company will then give a full refund (excluding shipping as we are unable to refund the initial shipping cost of your order).
Please allow 1-2 weeks for your return to be processed.
Discounted items are not eligible for a return.
Lur Candle Company will not issue refunds for products purchased through other entities, such as distributors or retail partners. Again, we will try our best to assist you with this and work in conjunction with our retail partners to resolve any issues.
Returned items must be delivered to us unused, in original packaging and in the condition they were received or may not be eligible for refund or be subject to a restocking fee of 50% of the amount of the product. We cannot be held responsible for items damaged or lost in return shipment, therefore we recommend an insured and trackable mail service.
We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the item(s) or proof of received return delivery.
We aim to accept all returns. In the unlikely event that an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition, we may have to send it back to you. All goods will be inspected on return.
UK Delivery
Lur offers free shipping on all our candle products across the UK. We use Royal Mail as we believe they provide the best service for our customers. We always attempt to deliver your order to your provided address but please be aware that even though Royal Mail is delivering contactless, if no one is hole to receive the parcel you may need to collect your order from your nearest Royal Mail Delivery office or arrange a redelivery.
If your order is for a special occasion, or you need it by a certain date, please get in contact with us first so we can do everything possible to make sure your products are with you on time.
International Delivery
We love the fact that people like our products so much that they go to the effort to buy from us here in Scotland from their homes around the globe. For International delivery, we've set up postage zones and have a different rate depending on what zone you are in and based on our shipping couriers costs. The shipping fees listed below will allow you to send multiple candles to your address.
USA - £20
Canada and Europe - £30
Asia - £30
All other areas - £30.
Please allow up to two weeks for delivery and we will notify you when your products have left Lur Headquarters in Scotland.
